"Beacon Pointe proved more than I could have hoped for. My father would have wanted nothing less for Mom. The facility itself reminds me of a cross between a resort and family gathering. I feel at home when I visit. I have the utmost confidence in, respect for, and love for the staff. Mom has given five star care for…her family and friends. My family at Beacon Pointe is giving her not only outstanding care but gives her the priceless personal attention she deserves. My mother has faced medical emergencies and each time they were met with urgency, care, and love……The staff doesn't just do its job, the staff loves and protects the residents..."

Beacon Pointe of Tampa offers specialized memory care for those suffering from Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia. We know that finding the right home for a loved one who is experiencing the effects of dementia can be difficult. These individuals need and deserve specialized care. At Beacon Pointe, our small, homelike environment offers a unique place where residents feel comfortable and nurtured. Residents live in four separate neighborhoods with a high staff to resident ratio. The physical design of the neighborhoods makes for easy navigation. A beautiful enclosed, outdoor courtyard gives residents freedom to wander in an unobtrusively supervised environment. Staff receive ongoing education as research provides innovative methods for care and treatment. Each resident, along with family members and staff, is involved in the process of establishing an individualized care plan that takes each resident's needs and desires into consideration. The care plan is updated regularly. Every effort is made for residents to remain as independent as possible. Family is encouraged to be involved in events and activities. We welcome your input.

In addition to full-time residency, short-term stays are available. This gives caregivers an opportunity to take a break while their loved one is cared for in a protected environment. It is a chance to see the day-to-day lifestyle of Beacon Pointe before becoming a full-time resident.

With no buy in fees or expensive endowments, just a simple monthly rental, Beacon Pointe provides a home that truly feels like home for those who suffer from Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
