Because our communities offer different types of living we serve a variety of residents with a wide range of needs and desires. However, each type of living offers a warm homey atmosphere, a wonderful staff and a wide array of services.

Independent Living (See map below for locations)
Independent living appeals to residents who want to put the worry and expense of home upkeep behind them, yet still enjoy the privacy and feel of their own home. By freeing themselves from the hassles of cooking and cleaning residents are free to pursue other interests and social opportunities. Although our communities can offer some support such as scheduled transportation to medical visits, independent living residents continue to manage their own health needs.

Assisted Living (See map below for locations)
Assisted living appeals to residents who also desire the ability to remain independent, but who also want a more comprehensive package of services. An important distinction in Assisted Living is support in areas such as assistance with medications and other types of personal assistance. Still, our communities feel very residential and residents have many choices in their daily living. Personal assistance, if needed, is always handled discreetly and with dignity.

Memory Care Communities (See map below for locations)
Our Memory Care Neighborhoods serve residents who are facing memory loss but still want to remain active and involved. Licensed as assisted living, our neighborhoods remain residential and family-like but also offer other services and amenities unique to the particular needs of this special group.

Respite Care
Short-term stays, also called respite care, provide a break for the caregiver, a protected environment for the family member, and an opportunity to try out a community.  Most PSLG communities offer respite stays.

The latest research indicates that 83% of home caregivers are concerned about their ability to provide ongoing care.  Short-term stays offer a perfect solution for caregiver stress and provide a pleasant and nurturing environment for the loved one.
